Activities

Brooklyn Botanic Garden

We highly recommend arriving early and visiting the Garden before the wedding! It's a world-class botanical garden with a beautiful Japanese-style pond garden, rose garden, native wildflower garden, and lots more to see.

Prospect Park Zoo

If you are traveling with kids, the Prospect Park Zoo is located very close to the Botanic Garden. It is a very manageable size but there is still lots to see. Make sure to catch a sea lion feeding - they happen several times a day. There is also a carousel located at the south entrance.

Brooklyn Museum

The Brooklyn Museum is an encyclopedic art museum with 140,000 objects in its permanent collection and a rotating program of exciting special exhibitions.

Prospect Park

Prospect Park is a beautiful 526-acre public park that adjoins both the Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Museum. It was designed by Frederic Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, and opened to the public in 1867. There are lots of different trails and areas to explore for walking, running, or biking.

Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise

The Circle Line is a fun way to see the city if you have the time to spare! Great for kids and adults, they offer a variety of cruises leaving from Pier 83 in Midtown, including their signature 2.5 hour cruise that circles the entire island of Manhattan.
